Coating machine is mainly used for surface coating process production of film, paper, etc. This machine coats the rolled substrate with a layer of glue, paint or ink with specific functions, and then winds it after drying.

The two ends of the coating mechanism are installed on the vertical support arms of the coating machine, and the coating mechanism is moved up and down through the transmission of belts, chains or cables to coat along the surface of the screen. The transmission mechanism is connected to the servo or frequency conversion motor, so that the operation is stable, and the position of the coating mechanism can be accurately controlled.

Before coating, the clean, stretched screen is loaded from the front of the coating machine, and some models can also be loaded from the side. Among the models designed for large-format screen frames, the side-mounted version is more common, because the screen frame is large and heavy, and the side-mounted version can make the lifting and moving volume smaller. When the automatic screen coating machine and other automatic screen processing equipment (such as cleaning equipment, regeneration equipment, drying device and developing machine) are operated online, it is more convenient to install the plate from the side.

No matter how the screen is installed, once the screen is in the correct position, the pneumatic clamping device or mechanical clamping device is closed to lock the screen. In order to make the operation more convenient, many models have a foot pedal to control the plate clamping action, and the operator can free up both hands to control the screen plate. After installing the screen, pour the corresponding photosensitive emulsion into the coating machine, and then start coating. According to the functions of the control system and equipment, the equipment can coat both sides of the screen at the same time.

There are two coating methods, one is to coat the photosensitive emulsion on the screen through multiple wet pressing and wetting operations; or to add a drying process after each coating. A machine that quantitatively coats liquid (or melt) polymer materials such as adhesives or coatings on the surface of the material.

It is suitable for the production of flexible substrates such as PVC/PE film. Simply put, the glue is applied to the film. Specifically, it includes gluing, drying, winding and tension control.
